Earnings for February 2017

A dollar sign. This is a summary of the income, both received and accumulated, that was earned during February 2017.

The earnings are divided into two main categories, Accumulated and Received. Accumulated earnings also detail any payments received from that category during the month. Earnings are then further broken down into the areas from which the earnings were made. Earnings for the previous month follow the current month’s revenue in brackets.

For a full breakdown of writing related progress and earnings, see the complete article here.

Most of the work done during the month was related to articles, and any associated affiliate programmes, rather than other sources.

RedGage earnings are, as has been the standard for some time, still missing.

Fizzy is still not earning anything, and whether or not the outstanding earnings will ever be paid is still open to question. GamesChart also looks like it’s gone, which means that what was earned from there is now lost.

Amazon US earnings decreased again, which was not a surprise, but unfortunately they are also lower than February 2016. This is the fourth month in a row that the year on year income has been lower. Amazon UK earnings increased very slightly, up from nothing, but were also lower than February last year. Amazon UK earnings are rarely consistent though.

As has been the case for far too many months now, InfoBarrel earnings are still unbelievably poor. It appears that the new layout may have adversely affected earnings, even assuming they are genuine. The continued total lack of interest in running the site has meant that it is no longer being written on.

Earnings from the role playing game supplements on RPGNow  decreased quite a lot, and were down from the same time last year as well. However, in February 2016 my current second and third best selling supplements were released and nothing remotely comparable was released this month.

This month also saw the first, minor, earnings from Zazzle. There was also the first payment from AppLike, an Android app that pays you for playing games and using apps, and gives you a percentage of your referrals’ and sponsor’s earnings. The payment took longer to arrive than stated – months not days – but it did pay.
