Earnings for February 2014

  • SumoMe

A dollar sign. This is a summary of the income, both received and accumulated, that was earned during February 2014.

The earnings are divided into two main categories, Accumulated and Received. Accumulated earnings also detail any payments received from that category during the month. Earnings are then further broken down into the areas from which the earnings were made. Earnings for the previous month follow the current month’s revenue in brackets.

For a full breakdown of article related progress and earnings, see the complete article on InfoBarrel.

Most of the work done during the month was related to articles, and any associated affiliate programmes, rather than other sources.

Earnings were down substantially this month, with the lowest revenue since July last year. Bubblews earnings again improved slightly, and AdSense income was up for the month, but InfoBarrel’s tier earnings declined and there wasn’t the competition income boost that there was in January.

RedGage earnings are missing this month, as they haven’t been updated, and Expertcolumn’s have been included for the first time since the site was redone.

Amazon was up slightly, making it one of the best months on Amazon, although still very poor really, and Bubblews still continues to account for an enormous proportion of earned revenue.

Accumulated Income

Accumulated income is earnings from the month that were accumulated to accounts, to be paid out at a later date.

Affiliate Programmes:

AdSense: $35.70 ($23.36) – This includes YouTube income and has been converted to dollars from pound Sterling.

Amazon: $1.84 ($1.37)

InfoLinks: $0.81 ($1.44)

Miscellaneous: $1.00 ($1.00) – This is earnings from various minor programmes

These are, currently, earnings from games on the Flash platform. Fizzy’s continued status as a reported attack site is worrying, but the earnings for February were added as they should have been.

Fizzy: $15.87 ($11.99)

GamesChart: $0.03 ($0.15)

Kongregate: $0.11 ($0.06)

MindJolt: $0.76 ($1.03)

MochiMedia: $11.93 ($13.51)

Writing Sites:

These are earnings from various writing sites that aren’t received through other affiliate programmes, such as from Google AdSense and Amazon.

Expertscolumn: $0.02 (N/A)

HubPages: $0.58 ($0.53)

InfoBarrel: $6.33 ($119.65)

TOTAL: $74.98 ($174.11)

Received Payments (Monthly):

These were payments received during the month, excluding any mentioned earlier under accumulated. These are programmes for which a monthly payment, or payments, is usual, rather than those which build up to reach the payment threshold. This includes those that make the occasional monthly payment without accumulating earnings.

Affiliate Programmes:

CPMStar: $2.22 ($0)

Epic Game Ads: $0.45 ($0.49)

Writing Sites:

Again, this is money that wasn’t earned through other affiliate programmes.

Bubblews: $251.23 ($250.70) – This was all cleared PayPal payments this month.

Squidoo: $4.22 ($2.41) – Combined with the money in the Reserve Hopper from the previous month, this was enough to receive a payment.

Advertising: $0 ($4.45)

eBay: $0 ($0)

TOTAL: $258.12 ($258.05)

The total for accumulated and received income during February 2014 was $333.10, excluding actual payments received from the Accumulated Income section. The latter will already be taken into consideration in prior months, when applicable.

January earnings in total were $432.16, so there was a decrease of $99.06.
