Earnings for December 2013

  • SumoMe

A dollar sign. This is a summary of the income, both received and accumulated, that was earned during December 2013.

The earnings are divided into two main categories, Accumulated and Received. Accumulated earnings also detail any payments received from that category during the month. Earnings are then further broken down into the areas from which the earnings were made. Earnings for the previous month follow the current month’s revenue in brackets.

For a full breakdown of article related progress and earnings, see the complete article on InfoBarrel.

Most of the work done during the month was related to articles, and any associated affiliate programmes, rather than other sources.

There has been another drop this month, again due to lower Bubblews earnings. The propping up of the income from eBay sales that was seen in November was, as expected, not seen in December. A few sales were made, but the majority of the stock had been sold off in the previous month. No eBay income is expected in January, although this may change.

This was the best month ever for my personal Amazon earnings, although still not that impressive. Currently, monthly earnings are far too dependent on Bubblews income, so more needs to be done to increase income from other sources.

Some of the links in this section are affiliate links that can earn me a commission, or revenue share, at no extra expense to you.

Accumulated Income

Accumulated income is earnings from the month that were accumulated to accounts, to be paid out at a later date.

Affiliate Programmes:

AdSense: $27.34 ($26.96) – This includes YouTube income and has been converted to dollars from pound Sterling.

Amazon: $17.57 ($1.20)

InfoLinks: $0.72 ($0.67)

Miscellaneous: $0.73 ($0.93) – This is earnings from various minor programmes

These are, currently, earnings from games on the Flash platform. Fizzy has been suffering some sort of problem recently, as it is currently listed by Norton as an attack site, due to their adverts – which I think they actually run themselves.

Fizzy: $18.44 ($15.94)

GamesChart: $0.05 ($0.10)

Kongregate: $0.37 ($0.14)

MindJolt: $0.85 ($0.80)

MochiMedia: $13.93 ($21.09)

Writing Sites:

These are earnings from various writing sites that aren’t received through other affiliate programmes, such as from Google AdSense and Amazon.

HubPages: $1.26 ($0.92)

InfoBarrel: $11.15 ($14.09)– A payment of $56.76 was also received, the first payment from InfoBarrel’s own advertising programme, tier 1 and tier 2 ads.

TOTAL: $92.41 ($82.84)

Received Payments (Monthly):

These were payments received during the month, excluding any mentioned earlier under accumulated. These are programmes for which a monthly payment, or payments, is usual, rather than those which build up to reach the payment threshold. This includes those that make the occasional monthly payment without accumulating earnings.

Affiliate Programmes:

CPMStar: $1.31 ($1.92)

Epic Game Ads: $0.53 ($1.04)

Writing Sites:

Again, this is money that wasn’t earned through other affiliate programmes.

Bubblews: $228.01 ($275.13) – This is both cleared and pending PayPal payments.

Squidoo: $4.84 ($4.68) – An additional $4.68 from the Reserve Hopper from last month was also received.

Advertising: $13.50 ($4.53)

eBay: $20.58 ($130.87) – This has been converted to dollars and is the profit after all eBay, PayPal, stock purchase and post & packing charges have been taken off

TOTAL: $268.77 ($418.17)

The total for accumulated and received income during December 2013 was $361.18, excluding actual payments received from the Accumulated Income section. The latter will already be taken into consideration in prior months, when applicable.

November earnings in total were $501.01, so there was a decrease of $139.83.
